The Black Ice Melting Retro looks hot enough to melt ice on a February day in Chicago. It will also sizzle on the green while you're dropping putts and taking your buddies money.
Finished in a black pvd coating with an oversized Chicago blue dripping skull with volt sunglasses engraved on the sole. Along with a matching black and Chicago blue Lamkin grip, to round out our second rendition of the Retro putter.
The Retro is, as its name suggests, a throwback heel-shafted blade with a wide flange and near full toe flow for the most dramatic gated strokes. This style of putter has always intrigued us, and we're happy to be bringing a second version of it.
The Retro features quite a few traits from our Ace model as well as a nearly identical Cooler style neck which is unusual for a blade putter such as this. The fully surfaced sole and never bent by hand neck truly set this model apart from its competitors. Like all of our models, we will continue to work and tweak its shape as it evolves.
This specific putter was painstakingly finished by hand through three polishing processes to create a polished brushed finish for this truly timeless design. This model was 5 axis milled with precision mill patterns and the 3D surfacing we are known for without unnecessary glare or shadowing.
The Retro Melt comes paired with a brand new matching made-in-the-USA Melting Skull headcover with magnet closures and the softest available furs on the market to ensure the protection of your flat stick. -

This putter has 1/2 toe hang and full offset. This beauty was finished off with a chrome shaft and an extremely tacky Grip Master Leather grip. It is currently set to 33" and comes with the Olson leather headcover pictured. We can bend this to spec so please let us know if you would like it bent otherwise we will assume standard specs, 72* and 4*. -

This CMDGolfCo Clean Collection Torqueless Skyler Mid is milled from a solid block of 1018 Carbon Steel. This putter features a 354g headweight, top line and has a brushed black oxide finish which will rust over time. This is brand new and never used.
Being Torqueless this putter has no toe hang and no offset. This beauty was finished off with a chrome True Temper Stepless shaft and a Garsen Quad Tour CMDGolfCo grip. It is currently set to 34" and comes with the handmade headcover pictured. This will include a silicone oil towel to keep it from rusting. This is standard specs, 70* and 3*. -

This wider-bodied, precision-milled blade is perimeter weighted for a high MOI, and fits players with a straight stroke type. The shallow-milled face ensures a firmer feel and consistent ball speeds. A ball-width back cavity with alignment line makes aiming easier.
This putter is face balanced and has full offset. This one is currently set to 35" and will come with a chrome stepless shaft, PLD Headcover and Tour L Grip. However it can also include the shaft and grip of your choice, different length, loft, lie, etc. Or through the Ping PLD Plus program we can custom build one with your preferred alignment aid, paint fill, custom graphics and paint-filled grips.
